Stone Age Tools
Without the development of Stone Age tools, we wouldn't have the wonderful technology that we have today. It's possible that tools were also made from other materials like wood and bone, however this video focuses on the use of stone.
Follow Up Tasks
1. What kind of stone is flint and where in the world can you find large quantities of it?
2. Can you design your own Neolithic tool kit? What kind of jobs would a Neolithic person have to do and what tools could you design to help them with their daily tasks?
3. Can you make some string? Maybe try plaiting or twisting dry grass or plant stems.
